Leaving Villareal de San Carlos we have to take about 200 meters of road, to Plasencia, and then we have to take a path that appears at left.
At this point, we just have to follow the indicators we will see along the route.
The track is mainly through narrow and irregular paths, in the middle of abundant vegetation and some trees.
In the half part of the route we will find the path thats climbs up to the hill, Cerro Gimio. At this point we can choose to climb the hill or continue the route without climbing. But certainly the best option is to climb to the top of the hill, as the views from that point are very beautiful.
Reaching the top of Cerro Gimio we will see the wonderful views of the Reservoir Jose Maria de Oriol and part of Monfrague National Park, many birds, and nature..

After going down from Cerro Gimio, we have just a low- medium difficult route of about 3 kilometers to the starting point, Villareal de San Carlos.
